Singapore Wafer Factory Project: Box Column Inspections

Release time:

19 Dec,2025

We’re performing MT/UT inspections and flame straightening for this Singapore project.

We’re currently prepping box columns for the 7-story wafer fab production building of Singapore’s Linhai Lighthouse—with MT/UT inspections and flame straightening now in progress (as seen in the photos)!

Box columns (hollow steel columns) are great for high-rise industrial buildings like wafer fabs: they’re strong, rigid, and stable, perfect for supporting multi-story structures while saving space.

Right now, our team is doing MT (magnetic particle) and UT (ultrasonic) inspections—these checks spot tiny cracks or flaws in the steel to keep the columns safe and reliable. We’re also using flame straightening to fix small bends, making sure each column meets strict size and shape standards.

This is just the latest batch of components we’re producing for this large-scale project: we’ve already manufactured and shipped several sets of steel parts for the wafer fab, and more production and deliveries will follow as the project progresses. It’s another example of our ability to deliver precise, high-quality steel components for tech-focused industrial buildings.
